Frequently asked questions
Can't find what you're looking for? Contact us directly.
Do I need to create an account to play?+
No. Every game on VC Games is open and playable immediately — there's no sign-up, login, or email required for any part of the site.
Is VC Games really free?+
Yes, all games are free to play with no limit on how often or how long you use them. There are no premium tiers or paywalled difficulty levels.
What age range is this designed for?+
The games are aimed at roughly ages 6–12, but the difficulty levels stretch wide enough that younger kids using Easy mode and older kids using Hard mode both get an appropriately challenging round.
Do you collect any information about my child?+
No personal information is required or collected to use the games. Your best-score history is stored locally in your own browser, not on our servers. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
Does VC Games work on phones and tablets?+
Yes. Every page is built to resize for phones, tablets, and desktop screens, and the number pad on mobile devices opens automatically for the answer field.
How is my best score saved?+
Your best score for each game and difficulty is saved using your browser's local storage. It stays on your device, isn't sent to us, and will reset if you clear your browser's site data.
Can teachers use this in a classroom?+
Absolutely. Since nothing requires a login, it works well as a warm-up activity, a station during math rotations, or an early-finisher task — just open the relevant game on any classroom device.
Why does a problem feel too easy or too hard?+
Each game has three difficulty levels precisely because one setting doesn't fit every child. If Medium feels too easy, try Hard; if Easy still feels like a stretch, that's useful information too — see our practice guide for how to tell when it's time to move up a level.
I found a bug or have an idea for a new game. Who do I tell?+
We'd genuinely like to hear it — reach out through the contact page with as much detail as you can share.
