About This Game

Measurement Mountains challenges students to scale seven peaks by mastering measurement concepts. As climbers ascend each mountain, they encounter measurement problems involving length, weight, capacity, temperature, and time. The game covers both customary and metric units, teaching students to convert between units, estimate measurements, select appropriate tools, and solve real-world measurement word problems. The seven themed mountains include: Inch Peak (customary length), Meter Mountain (metric length), Pound Hill (customary weight), Gram Glacier (metric weight), Cup Cliff (customary capacity), Liter Ledge (metric capacity), and Degree Dome (temperature). Each mountain features environmental themes that match the measurement type, with realistic measurement tools students can manipulate.
